Contact and coverage

Get in touch — and know what we can help with.

We can explain how a tool works, tell you what a figure means, or correct something we have published. We cannot tell you whether you'll be approved or what rate you'd receive — those are the lender's decisions, and we are not the lender.

Corrections, questions, editorial feedback. We read all of it, and a correction to something we published gets priority over everything else.

Mailing address

StraightSum

1125 E Broadway #545

Glendale, CA 91205

United States

This is a mailing address, not a public office — there is no counter to visit and no staff on site, so email will always reach us faster than post. We publish it anyway, because a consumer-finance site that will not say where it receives mail has not earned much trust.

What we are, and are not

StraightSum is an independent publisher and referral service. We are not a lender, a loan broker, a loan servicer, a credit services organization, or a subsidiary, agent, or affiliate of any lender or lead network. Forms hosted on this site by third-party providers are clearly identified as such.

In practice: if you have an existing loan, a question about a payment, or a dispute, the lender is the only party who can resolve it. We have no access to your account and no ability to change anything about it. If they will not help, the two links below are free and both are read.

Faster than email

Most questions are already answered.

Not a brush-off — these genuinely resolve quicker than waiting for a reply.

Coverage

Where we operate.

The calculators work everywhere and need nothing from you. Whether a lender referral is available depends on your state. Each state page names the regulator who can give you the current limits and shows you how to confirm a lender is licensed — for an authoritative answer, go to your state regulator directly.

Read this before using the filter. Status is a general indication of whether high-cost small-dollar lending operates in a state. It is not legal advice, it has not been source-verified, and it should not be relied on. Confirm with your state regulator.

For an authoritative answer, use the State regulator directory (CSBS) or check the lender on NMLS Consumer Access.
